Start with neutrality
Listen without judgment and make room for each family’s goals, culture, and perspective.
EdCoSpace began with a simple belief: caregivers deserve knowledgeable support that respects their needs, their families, and the world they are building for their children.

When Leigh had her son, her “favorite people” were the ones who shared child-raising wisdom with neutrality. They were sensitive to her needs as a parent, knowledgeable about her child’s development and health, and focused on helping her build the family life she wanted.
“My goal is to be a favorite person to the families I serve.”
That experience became the heart of EdCoSpace: bringing child-development knowledge into daily life with care, context, and respect.

Support works best when it acknowledges the full life surrounding the child.
Listen without judgment and make room for each family’s goals, culture, and perspective.
Honor the talents, personality, needs, and developmental stage of each child.
Consider time, resources, routines, and relationships when shaping the plan.
